| NIGERIAN ASSOCIATION OF FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS KADPOLY CHAPTER |
The
Students’ Association was set up in order to achieve the following objectives:
1. To
foster among students and the association, peaceful and brotherly co-existence
for the development
of healthy and resourceful association
2. To
provide a forum or unifying body that will channel or front the moral, academic
and health
needs of the association members
3. To
provide a platform for future leaders where they will develop their inherent
leadership potentials.
The
activities of the Association in the next few months will include the following:
- The
Freshers’ Orientation and Welcome Party is an occasion to celebrate and welcome the new intake
in the Department to the Association as new members.
- Organize students to attend the annual Nutrition Society of Nigeria conference in Calarbar & National NAFSTS conference in Abuja.

Organization of an annual event tagged “Food Week”. This normally comes up
during second semester
of every academic session.

Organization of industrial visits to selected food industries in the country at
least once in every
academic session.
